Digital Trust Canada enables the conditions that make the digital world safer, more trustworthy, and resilient for individuals, organizations, and society.

As cybercrime, fraud, privacy breaches, and misinformation increase, trust in digital interactions can no longer be assumed. At the same time, people and organizations expect to access services, share information, and adopt new technologies—such as artificial intelligence—securely, conveniently, and with confidence, anytime and anywhere.

Digital Trust Canada responds to this challenge by enabling applied trust infrastructure that makes it possible to share data and information safelyverify what can be trusted, and retain control over how data is used. Our focus is on enabling secure, federated, and sovereign digital systems, where trust, privacy, and governance are built in by design and enforced in practice.

By bridging policy intent, standards, and real-world implementation, we help strengthen a safer Internet, protect critical digital infrastructure, and support Canada’s role as a trusted global partner and leader in digital trust.
